daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gunness. 16-17. Sweet, almost
ethereal. Mysterious past.**
RALPH - Late teens. In love with Jennie. Naive. Later as older man.*
ELIZABETH SMITH - Strong-willed Black woman. Mid-50's. Intimate with Ray and friend of Belle.**
